The search will look for anything that "contains" your entry.
Example: When entering "mit" in the Author field, your results will include Smith and Mitchell and any other authors whose name (first or last) includes "mit".
Narrowing Your Search
If you are looking for a specific title, use as many key words as you can.
The catalog automatically searches for titles containing any of the search criteria.
Example Search: Title field = China State ["OR" keywords]. The search will return all titles containing "China" OR "State" in the title, subtitle, or subsubtitle.
You can narrow your search by selecting ["AND" keywords] from the toggle button to the right of the field.
Example Search: Title field = China State ["AND" keywords].The search will return titles that only contain both "China" AND "State" in the title, subtitle, or subsubtitle.
