Cooper Square Press is a general interest trade publisher named after the historic square in New York City. Cooper Square publishes hardcover originals and paperback reprints in the fields of history, biography, music, the performing arts, literature, and travel and exploration. Established in 1961 by Littlefield, Adams & Company, the former owner of Rowman & Littlefield, Cooper Square is in the early stages of a revival that will make it one of the leading North American publishers of popular trade nonfiction.
